The Lost Lake Trail
One of the highlights of the Lost lake Trail is the presence of interpretive soil stations. Each of the three stations provides a clear cross section of the soil types present along the various points of this lakeside trail.   The stations were designed by soil scientist Thomas Hansmeier who has developed similar instructive media for the Wilder Nature Center and other Minnesota parks.
